A BID is a business-led and business funded body formed to improve a defined commercial area. Swansea BID concentrate on businesses in the BID area. Our projects have been truly successful, however, we can do more!!
Following a successful ballot in March 2011, Swansea Business Improvement District is here until July 2016. The BID will provide a platform for businesses to work together to improve and enhance the City Centre. Guided by businesses and organisations based within the Swansea BID area the BID team will help shape the future development of the place in which we all work, live and play. We have established a full programme of initiatives, services and events to deliver, all driven by what the Businesses in the BID area say. Currently we work under 5 main core objectives: Safety and Security, Cleansing, Transportation, Marketing & Events and Supporting and Attracting Business with the overall aim being to improve the trading and shopping environment and make Swansea a safer, more vibrant and lively destination visit.
