The LC, Tuesday 9th April 9am – 5pm. FREE to attend.
We are very pleased to partner with 4TheRegion for the Swansea City Centre Conference, which will see BID businesses, leaders, decision-makers, investors and residents voice their ambitions for the region post-regeneration.
Since Swansea BID represents more than 800 City Centre businesses across a broad mix of sectors, we see first-hand how much vision and commitment is shown by you, the business community here, to ensure Swansea is a vibrant and forward-thinking place to shop, visit, stay, study and do business.
This will also be one of our open stakeholder meetings for our BID Businesses, so please head over to the Swansea BID stand to say hello and to share your thoughts and ideas about the future of our City Centre and to have a chat about any BID matters.
Being a champion for Swansea City Centre is in our DNA as a BID. And seeing its unfolding regeneration is encouraging – the City Centre has a real spring in its step.
Swansea BID will continue to underpin the regeneration with its own daily operations – organising and promoting scores of events to actively champion and support the City Centre and its businesses, liaising with investors and potential investors to encourage them to set up businesses in Swansea, co-financing and providing vital services, such as the Rangers, Marketing, Events, Parking Offers, Taxi Marshals and the Cleansing Team.
Swansea has always had its own unique character, and, above all, heart and soul. Anyone who has been on the terraces at a Swans match, watched a Wales game onscreen in a City Centre bar, or shared a bit of banter with the traders in the BID area can attest to this. This is something we will never lose. But being part of Swansea’s continuing evolution and seeing it embrace the modernisation it needs in order to thrive in these shifting times is heartening. Let’s continue to make Swansea a great place shop, visit, stay, study and do business.
