Position: Mortgage Administrator at Mortgage Advice Bureau

Full Time

Monday to Friday 9:30 to 5:30, Rota's Saturdays

£16K - 20K Depending on experience

MAB Swansea are seeking a full time mortgage administrator to join their expanding team. The role is Mon-Friday 930-530 with Saturdays on a rota basis, working in the city centre office. Accountable to the office manager.

The administrator will be responsible for assisting a team of advisors focusing on mortgage & protection business. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism and be comfortable dealing with customers and introducers. Previous experience in an administration role would be advantageous, however full training will be given.


Regular liaison with Customers, Mortgage Advisors, Lenders, Solicitors & Estate agents.
Obtaining updates on applicant status, proactively progressing applications through to completion, escalating where appropriate.
Submission of mortgage applications and record keeping.
Ensuring that required documents are processed in a timely manner
Ensuring all documentation is maintained in a secure and confidential manner
Complying with FCA regulations, checking all cases meet internal and external regulations.
Complying with company standards and policies

Skills and experience

A team player with ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks efficiently
Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines.

Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
Demonstrate a confident telephone manner and excellent customer service
Excellent administration skills and IT literate


Salary of up to £16k – 20k depending on experience
30 days holiday per year
