Position: Mortgage Administrator at Mortgage Advice Bureau

Full Time

MAB Swansea are seeking a full time mortgage administrator to join their expanding team. The role is Mon-Friday 930-530 with Saturdays on a rota basis, working in the city centre office. Accountable to the office manager.

The administrator will be responsible for assisting a team of advisors focusing on mortgage & protection business. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism and be comfortable dealing with customers and introducers. Previous experience in an administration role would be advantageous, however full training will be given.

Responsibilities

Regular liaison with Customers, Mortgage Advisors, Lenders, Solicitors & Estate agents.
Obtaining updates on applicant status, proactively progressing applications through to completion, escalating where appropriate.
Submission of mortgage applications and record keeping.
Ensuring that required documents are processed in a timely manner
Ensuring all documentation is maintained in a secure and confidential manner
Complying with FCA regulations, checking all cases meet internal and external regulations.
Complying with company standards and policies

Skills and experience

A team player with ability to use own initiative and prioritise tasks efficiently
Have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadlines.

Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral
Demonstrate a confident telephone manner and excellent customer service
Excellent administration skills and IT literate

Position: Temporary City Centre ranger at Swansea City Council

Full Time

£21,748 - £24,491 per annum

The successful post-holder will work within Swansea's busy City Centre the transformation of which is a key priority for the Council.

It is an extremely diverse and challenging role but your main duties will include providing operational assistance and responding to queries from residents and visitors, liaising with local business and BID, carrying out foot patrols and surveys and distributing information, undertaking relevant enforcement duties, reporting and following-up problems, liaising with relevant partners to tackle anti-social behaviour, street vulnerability and other problems, carrying out minor maintenance tasks, facilitating access and assisting with the on-site management of commercial lettings schemes, events and other on-street activities. The successful candidate will also be given the opportunity to gain experience in developing and implementing relevant operational projects that improve the safety, security and/or attractiveness of the City Centre and supporting the economic recovery of the City Centre post Covid-19.

The Ranger Service is run on a rota basis which includes working pre-arranged weekends and bank holidays. The rota also reflects the seasonal demands of the festive and other key periods and there is also a requirement to work some evenings.
