Swansea BID is pleased to be expanding its workforce, by creating a City Host Team to signpost City Centre attractions to our thousands of visitors.
New volunteer roles have been created to ensure shoppers, visitors and workers are given a warm Swansea welcome to the City Centre and that they get any help they need with directions, public transport information, and details about attractions they can enjoy while they are here.
Swansea BID Chief Executive, Russell Greenslade, said: “Swansea City Centre is going through hugely exciting times and we want to ensure visitors get the most out of their time here, by enjoying the best possible experience. We also want to reinforce the Swansea BID team to ensure we are well-equipped to meet the changing needs of our BID area businesses, as Swansea grows and develops.
“This is why we are creating the new City Host team, to be on hand to welcome and guide shoppers, visitors and workers and to provide a warm, friendly and knowledgeable welcome to all. These volunteer ‘human signposts’ will be stationed in the BID area’s busiest streets, providing a link between the public and businesses by answering enquiries, reporting any City Centre issues.
The volunteer roles are one-day-per-week, with the other BID vacancies being full-time, paid positions. Find full details here:City Host, greet, meet and greet, regeneration, Swansea, Swansea City Centre, volunteer, volunteers
