First aid is crucial in providing emergency care and stabilising a casualty before professional help can arrive. It's always useful to have a first-aid-trained member of staff working. The course also serves as a great team-building exercise for employees within an organisation.
During this course you'll learn how to examine a casualty, what to do if they're not breathing, familiarise yourself with basic life support and learn how to control bleeding and trauma. These provide the skills to overcome a potentially threatening situation long enough for medically trained individuals to arrive on the scene. There is also an opportunity to purchase a CPD-accredited certificate upon completion (£45) this is completely optional.
The course will be from 10 am-12 pm on Monday the 16th of January at The BeautyCentre (25 castle street, Swansea).
