‘Shop local is as important as ever’ is the message from Swansea BID as they launch their new Christmas competition.
The Big Heart of Swansea Gift Card has launched a new festive competition as part of a drive to encourage local shopping this Christmas. The Swansea BID ‘Win Your Dream Christmas’ competition offers a chance to win a £1000 local gift card.
The Gift Card launched in Swansea with both national brands and independents included in the list of participants, including SuperDry, HMV, Ernest Jones and over 90 other brands.
Swansea's gift card is part of the award winning Town & City Gift Card concept from fintech Miconex, active in over 150 places across the world.
Russell Greenslade from Swansea BID said that the ‘Win Your Dream Christmas’ competition is a fun campaign with a serious message:
“Almost half of the UK population will give Christmas gifts this year, and almost half are feeling the effects of the cost of living crisis.

Launching on the 7th November and ending on Monday 28th November, the Win Your Dream Christmas competition is offering one winner a £1000 discount code to use on the Town & City Gift Cards website. The winner can select local gift cards from one or more of the 80 plus Town & City Gift Cards in the UK and Ireland, physical or digital, up to the value of £1000.
