UWTSD’s Swansea College of Art has supplied 500 visors to Swansea BID for distribution amongst shops and organisations in the City Centre. The UWTSD team has been using the facilities at Swansea College of Art to produce the visors and it has already supplied many care homes across the region.
Swansea BID has been busy supporting the businesses in the BID area through these challenging times, and these visors will be offered as part of BID’s efforts to help them get ready to open again. UWTSD has always had a close relationship with Swansea BID and in 2013 they co-launched the Creative Bubble initiative to encourage students to set up their own businesses in Swansea.
Swansea BID will use the Creative Bubble shop as a base to distribute Reopening Advice Packs and PPE on June 10 and 11, by appointment. Russell Greenslade, Chief Executive of Swansea BID said: “We are pleased to take delivery of these visors to help our businesses get back on their feet. The past few months have been a difficult time for all of our BID area businesses, but I am positive that if we all continue to pull together, we can move on to better times.” If you are a BID area business, contact: [email protected] to book your appointment to pick up your pack.
