Swansea City Centre’s Track and Trace System Shines

September 7, 2020 12:55 pm

Well done to our Swansea City Centre hospitality businesses for working hard to ensure the track and trace system is working effectively for customers and for staff.

We have been out and about in the City Centre during the busier lunchtime and evening hours and it is pleasing to see things running so smoothly. You might have seen that Walesonline has been putting the system to the test, too:

We know many of our BID area businesses have signed up to the Evepass.app system that we have put in place,  with Jack Murphys and Coyote Ugly being featured in the Walesonline piece. Many firms are using a dual app-based and paper system, to make sure the process works well for everyone.

Remember, track and trace is now compulsory for hospitality businesses in Wales. Evepass.app is free for businesses and consumers to use and it allows your customers to register just once, contact-free, before enjoying a safe and fun time in Swansea City Centre. All the information you need to install evepass.app can be found here: https://www.swanseabid.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/evePASS2.pdf

You simply need to:

  • Register in less than a minute.
  • Download your unique QR Code
  • Install your QR Code at your entranceway
  • Encourage consumers to scan the code-free simple, contact-free registration across the City Centre with all participating businesses

All customer data will be encrypted and stored safely, according to GDPR regulations. Sign up today, so we can give all possible reassurance that Swansea City Centre is operating well and offering its customary warm welcome.
